While working at Specialty Publishing I was in charge of posting, curating, and implementing new design needs to all of the sites under our umbrella of brands, starting with redesigning the sites every year to meet a changing market. This usually involved communication between editorial and marketing to make quick changes or needed functionality, such as I added a subscription signup process for new members to join the site and read walled articles, done to create a community of like minded individuals in the various spaces.
It involved selecting what type of membership, imputing personal info, and having a lock system in place so that some articles or pages would be accessed by only signing up including exclusive features or articles. Most of this work was done within WordPress and use of themes and plugins in a creative way, as often work would need to meet timely demands for special events.

Every month was a new feature centered around a particular topic in IoT or technology, essentially replacing the print Connected World Magazine.
These usually include animations, graphics, or special sections for users to click while reading the feature.
Bottom is a newsletter plugin that i included into the footer to increase visibility of our newsletter.
